Terms of Use
Last updated October 29, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Menzora (“Menzora,” “we,” “us”). They govern your use of menzora.app, the restaurant websites and online ordering we host, the dashboard, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and, if you accept payments, the Stripe terms described in section 5.
1. Who can use Menzora
Menzora is for restaurants and other food businesses. You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. If you sign up on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that business, and “you” means both you and the business.
2. Your account
- Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including activity by team members you invite.
- Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think your account has been compromised.
- During early access, sign-up may be limited to invited email addresses.
3. The Service
Menzora lets you publish a restaurant website, manage a menu, accept online pickup orders, run promotions, and view reports. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We will try to give notice before removing a feature you rely on, but we can’t promise the Service will always be available or error-free.
4. Free trial, plans and fees
- New accounts start with a free trial. We’ll tell you the trial length when you sign up.
- After the trial, continued use requires a paid plan at the prices shown on our website or in your dashboard. Prices exclude taxes unless stated.
- Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and fees already paid are not refundable except where the law requires.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. Changes apply from your next billing period.
- If you downgrade, features not included in the new plan stop working, but we don’t delete your data because of a downgrade.
- Menzora does not charge commissions on your customers’ orders. Stripe’s processing fees still apply (see section 5).
5. Payments processed by Stripe
Card payments from your customers are processed by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates (“Stripe”). To accept payments, you create or connect a Stripe account through Menzora.
Payment processing services for restaurants on Menzora are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Services Agreement (together, the “Stripe Services Agreement”). By agreeing to these Terms or continuing to operate as a restaurant on Menzora, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as Stripe may modify it from time to time. As a condition of Menzora enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide Menzora accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize Menzora to share it, and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Stripe, with Stripe.
- You are the seller of the food and the merchant of record for each order. Payments go to your Stripe account, not to Menzora.
- You are responsible for refunds, disputes, chargebacks, and Stripe’s fees on your account.
- Menzora is not a bank, money transmitter, or payment processor, and does not hold your funds.
- Stripe handles card details directly. Menzora never receives or stores full card numbers.
- Stripe’s use of personal information is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.
6. Your restaurant and your customers
Orders placed through your site are agreements between you and your customer. Menzora is not a party to them. You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of your menu, prices, hours, and descriptions, including allergen and dietary information.
- Preparing and handing over orders, food safety, licensing, and complying with laws that apply to your business.
- Charging and paying the correct sales taxes. Menzora calculates tax only from the rate you enter.
- Handling your customers’ personal information lawfully, including any marketing you send them.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload or enter, such as your logo, photos, menu, and text (“Your Content”). You give Menzora a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, display, and adapt Your Content only as needed to run and improve the Service, for example to show your menu on your website. You confirm you have the rights to Your Content and that it doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights.
8. AI menu import
If you use menu import, the photos or PDFs you upload are sent to our AI provider to read your menu. The results can contain mistakes, so review every item and price before you save or publish it. You remain responsible for your menu.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Sell anything illegal, or anything Stripe prohibits in its restricted businesses list.
- Post content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, or harmful.
- Interfere with the Service, probe or bypass its security, or access other restaurants’ data.
- Scrape, resell, or copy the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
- Send spam or use customer information for purposes your customers haven’t agreed to.
10. Our property
Menzora owns the Service, including its software, templates, and design. Apart from the right to use the Service under these Terms, you don’t get any rights to it. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
11. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Menzora at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, don’t pay fees, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if Stripe stops supporting your account. Where reasonable, we will give notice first. After your account ends, we may delete Your Content after a reasonable period. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as fees owed, sections 6, 7, and 10–15) continue to apply.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, Menzora disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that it will produce any particular amount of orders or revenue.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Menzora will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Menzora’s total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid Menzora in the 12 months before the claim arose or US$100.
14. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Menzora against claims, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, the food and services you sell, your dealings with your customers, or your breach of these Terms or the law.
15. General
- Changes. We may update these Terms. For material changes we’ll notify you by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.
- Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Menzora is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any plan terms shown at purchase are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver.
- Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
